Panay Energy Development Corporation (PEDC) owns and operates a 164 MW and a 150 MW clean coal-fired power plants located in Iloilo City, Iloilo.

PEDC was born out of the need for adequate, reliable, and cost-efficient power in Panay Island. More than reducing the price of electricity in Iloilo City, PEDC served a significant role in addressing the need for baseload power in Panay Island. Since it began operations in 2011, PEDC has provided a steady electricity supply to key commercial establishments, such as the Iloilo International Airport and the beautiful Boracay Island—immeasurably spurring the growth of the four provinces in Panay.
